Soon a new online exhibit will show how the canal and its surrounding town grew, changed shape, and kept growing, with a website combining engineering plans and historic paintings to build computer images of Ottawa’s past. | Nevil Wood will deliver a presentation at the XXIIIrd International CIPA Symposium in Prague, Czech Republic on March 14th, 2011. | The architectural and cultural history of the construction of the Rideau Canal, considered a World Heritage Site, will soon be available as a unique web-based virtual museum. | This Saturday, June 4th, CIMS will be taking part in Doors Open Ottawa. We will be opening our doors from 10:00am to 4:00pm to showcase some of our exciting work relating to heritage documentation and conservation, urban planning and design, 3D modelling and digitization, and medical visualization. |
